i started a (new) newsletter!

In the two-ish months I’ve been dormant, I’ve been working a ton of new projects that I hope to rollout over the coming year. One such project is From The Superhighway - a monthly newsletter and interview series where I find some of the most interesting projects across the indie web and drop them into your inbox.

As for why I’m doing this - the last few articles I’ve written about the state of the modern Internet (and what to do about it) should catch you up to speed. In summary, social media is dying, and the new “old web” is coming back. I’ve spent the last six months or so scouting the frontier of the modern indie web space looking for interesting stuff, and it’s finally time to share the things I’ve found with all of you.

The first issue of the newsletter is already live here. It includes a bunch of interesting finds, and it’s capped off with an interview with the aptly named Melonking, who is - as you’ll find out if you read the issue - one of the most interesting artists on the modern internet.

I’ve been absolutely over the moon to finally have this project done after so long drilling away at it. I hope you all like it!
